S905 (Neo U1) Deinterlace Not Selected

    Apologies if this isn't the right spot for this. I'm running the latest build on my Neo U1/S905. When playing my SD video they are displaying interlaced. On the individual Video Settings for the playing file Deinterlace Method is "off" and greyed out. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

    If your video is being hardware decoded then you will be getting AMLogic hardware deinterlacing when watching mpeg2 or H264 interlaced content.

    That is why the CPU software deinterlacing options are greyed out.

    Attach a keyboard and press "O" and look for am-mpeg2 or am-h264 which means video is being hardware decoded.
