LibreElec random freezing and generally not running smoothly

Hi Guys,

I'm running a Rpi3 with a fresh install of LibreElec latest version with Kodi 17.6. I've chopped and changed recently, always with fresh installs between OSMC and Librelec, because I really do want to run Libreelec but I get annoying freezing within the user interface changing between menus and a lot of freezing when stopping media playing and returning to a menu. It just doesn't run quickly or smoothly, yet OSMC is 100% responsive. Does anyone else have this issue? I would prefer to run Libreelec because I like the "clean and simple" philosophy you have built the OS into, however its an absolute deal breaker if it isn't responsive. FYI I'm running it simply, off a wired LAN connection.

Any ideas? Is it a known bug that you are working on to improve responsiveness?

at RPi3 some things comes to my mind

1. broken addons/skin installed that eat up cpu ? is it reproduceable at an fresh installed LE ?

2. power adaptor too weak ? ( warning symbol at screen?)

3. dying SD card

otherwise there are "no" known problems

if you can rule out everything an kodi.log could help
