[8.90.11a] LibreELEC 9.x for S912

  • 8.90.11a,8.90.1, 8.90.1 lepotato,8.2.2.2 .....

I'm completely confused in these images

what other images are there libreelec?

how do they differ and which is the most stable?

    Thank you

All of these are community builds and not official, what that means is releases compiled by individual developers, version numbers are incremental to the changes and do not represent any official LE version.

8.90.11a was the last release by afl1 for S912

8.90.1 is the latest release by myself and afl1 for multiple devices

LePotato is a device similar to Odroid C2/Khadas KVIM

  • Does anyone have a problem with the built in Bluetooth on Mecool M8S Pro L? I just get "Adapter not found". Working in Android.

I can get bluetooth by an USB dongle, but for some reason my PS3 remote refuses to connect...never had problems with the same dongle on an Intel NUC...

And BTW, thanks for your work, excellent!

Which wifi/bt chip do you have in your box? Can you provide a dmesg as that would be more helpful than just stating something does not work.

  • Im sorry.

When i run dmesg the only thing about bluetooth i get is this:

    [ 213.817975@3] Bluetooth: Core ver 2.18

    [ 213.818185@3] NET: Registered protocol family 31

[ 213.818191@3] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized

[ 213.818225@3] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized

    [ 213.818235@3] Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized

[ 213.818267@3] Bluetooth: SCO socket layer initialized

[ 213.850699@0] Bluetooth: BNEP (Ethernet Emulation) ver 1.3

[ 213.850712@0] Bluetooth: BNEP filters: protocol multicast

[ 213.850748@0] Bluetooth: BNEP socket layer initialized

The strange thing is that on first start on libreelec i get "bluetooth DIsabled", even though its enabled by default. If i stop and start BT service, then i get "No Bluetooth Adapter found"

Got same box. Confirmed Bluetooth is disabled.

    Other than that... Awesome!

Framerate switching and hdmi audio Passthrough works a treat.

Occasionally a video will start with no audio. A stop start sorts it out.
