[7.0.3.012l] LibreELEC 7.0 for S905/S905X

  • Has anyone tried to attach a "WD MY BOOK DUO" to his box and can describe if it works flawlessly? They are rumoured to have very bad Linux support. I ask because currently I have two old single bay WD MY BOOK ESSENTIAL attached to my Mini M8S II running LibreElec version .009 and they are often not correctly recognized at startup. They have that annoying WD Smartware VCD image intalled somewhere directly on the USB connector, so I can't delete it. At startup my box will always recongnise both Smartware image drives but often not the partitions my files are on.
I'd like to repack both HDDs into a WD MY BOOK DUO case and use the containig two WD REDs in my computer. Any experiences with those kind of cases?

  • No success. Still the same error.

Here is the Addons log file after a restart:

  • Hi guys......I have a Nexbox A95X S905 8gb/1gb and although I loaded to nand via SD card and all appears well....when I turn off with the remote, it will not boot up again with the remote.....i have to pull the power cord. I used the new build and gxbb_p200_1G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb device tree and renamed it dtb.img. Can anyone offer me any advice as to how I can resolve this?? Many thanks.

Please can someone help on this.....thanks

  • darren1963 it's been explained many times... wrong u-boot and we are all waiting manufacturer to repair this issue

Thanks Oblivian, I'm sure I read a message on one of the 'trial builds' from Kostaman who has the same box and spec as me, where he intimated that the boot issue had been fixed.......Am I missing something here?

    Cheers

  • I think my TVHeadend (server) issue could be down to the new drivers? My August DVB-T210 used to show up in the webui as two devices, "Silicon Labs Si2168 : DVB-T #0" and "Silicon Labs Si2168 : DVB-C #0". Now it just show the DVB-T device although that is not working with my DVB-T aerial. Are there any logs I could upload that might be useful for diagnostics?

Same problem here with Mygica T230.

    Code
    # dmesg | grep dvb

But this looks ok, right? I try this T230 with raspberry Pi3 and get this same result (and no problem streaming live tv with Pi3).

  • Please post full logs for RTL2832U issue.

I posted a log file before, here LibreELEC.
I'm not sure if the problem is the tuner. It was working in the previous build.
I can access tvheadend from my PC and I can see the tuner with all the configuration, but KODI can't load tvheadend client add-on.

  • Will 64-bit build continue to be supported?
kszaq : would you mind also providing a 64-bit build?
For my personal usage, 64-bit builds so far were excellent.

    I tried following:

    Have a nice day.

  • Thanks kszaq! 012 working great for me from NAND.. just updated from 009 build.

I just wanted to add that 4k is working via my amp... in some previous builds, 4k would not work via my Yamaha amp, but only when the HDMI was directly connected to the TV. For whatever reason, this is no longer an issue in 012 it would appear. Happy days! :)
